De rubberen penpunten voor de Bamboo Stylus worden gemaakt van de hoogwaardigste materialen, zodat zo goed mogelijk op het scherm kan worden geschreven. Net als bij de meeste andere producten kan overmatig of langdurig gebruik echter tot slijtage van de penpunten leiden.
We onderwerpen alle Bamboo Stylus pennen aan grondige tests om ervoor te zorgen dat onze klanten er zo lang mogelijk plezier van hebben. Afhankelijk van het gebruiksniveau is na verloop van tijd mogelijk vervanging vereist.
Het ontwerp van de rubberen penpunten zorgt ervoor dat gebruikers niet veel kracht op het scherm hoeven uit te oefenen. Zodoende neemt de levensduur van de penpunt toe. We raden aan om te voorkomen dat de pen valt, omdat de penpunt daardoor vroegtijdig beschadigd kan raken.

Works perfect this stylus! But within weeks the rubber nip falls apart.
Claimed a new one, since this is not what a customer aspects from a high-end product.
Waiting for the respons of Wacom.
Stylus Solo
Leider haben wir auch bereits schon nach ca. 1 Monat die Gummispitze defekt. Soviel Geld hingelegt und dann so ein Ärger. Haben leider jetzt erst dieses Forum entdeckt,da wir eine Ersatzspitze kaufen möchten. Werden uns dies jedoch noch überlegen. Haben jetzt einen billigeren Stift von der Fa. Kensington gekauft (10 €). Mal abwarten, wie lange dieser hält.

Well, just going to take the decision to buy this expensive yet cool stylus, after I red all the comments concerning the low life of the nibs I made out my mind and decided to change direction.

Can a product really be that bad?
Purchased a white Bamboo Stylus solo online, after using Wacom tablets and their dedicated pens before. With the iPad being a nice drawing tablet as well, I expected this Bamboo Stylus solo pen to be as great as the iPad combined with Wacom's expertise in drawing equipment. The result is rather disappointing. The pen is far too heavy and the withe color is brighter than the iPad's white. The metal that holds the rubber tip can touch, or even worst hit the iPad's surface, potentially damaging it. The weight of the pen makes it fall hard anyway. The worst problem though, is the quality of the tip, which is unsuitable for any use, except maybe for sealing caps of bottles. After only a few days of use on a clean, new iPad screen, the tip gets cracks, that make ruptures after two weeks. Tires on cars are made of rubber, which withstands thousands of kilometers/miles on rough surfaces without cracking and tearing after a few weeks, let alone by gliding on the slippery surface of an iPad screen.
A one star rating for the Bamboo Stylus solo pen is one too many in my opinion. Instead of being happy with money well spent on a great product, I have to look for an alternative already. Next time I won't buy a Wacom product without consulting reviews like these. Reputation isn't everything as it seems.
Pen great. Stylus OK - but I need to buy some.
The pen is truly perfect for all I want to do with the iPad.
However, the stylus is, after about 2 months usage, falling apart. It says here out-of-stock. Not good. And, since this has been mentioned in another review, it would seem to be permanently out of stock. Now PLEASE don't make me have to go to a competitor. I want to use THIS thing.
